Meet Your Managers

Dan Workman joined Adventure Bound in Tucson, AZ a couple of years ago as the Assistant Manager and became the park’s Manager in May of 2009. With over 14 years of campground management experience at a large park in Indiana, Dan has the expertise to operate the park in an exemplary manner. He camped with his family all throughout his childhood, and to this day, loves the great outdoors.  And as Dan often says, “Managing a campground gives me the opportunity to work at something I love!”

Kim Workman, originally from Ohio, moved to the Phoenix area 20 years ago, and most recently worked as a school administrator for 12 years.  Kim now supervises the campstore and reservation office and is probably the first smiling face you’ll see upon your arrival at the park.

Dan and Kim fell in love with each other, the area and the park shortly after arriving in Tucson and decided to make it their home! Recently married, with nine children between them, most grown but three, Dan and Kim agree that Adventure Bound in Tucson is a wonderful place to raise a family and a great place to make many new friends and memories! 

Adventure Bound in Tucson is a quaint Western Park nestled in the desert forest surrounded by cactus. The weather is beautiful in Tucson year round. The park’s facilities and amenities are clean and well maintained. A variety of activities are offered, all lead by camper volunteers who devote many hours into making the park a fun place to be!
